Our aims and aspirations for 2026

Posted on 16 December 2025 by Sovereign Labelling Machines

We are predicting big things for next year, following on from a highly successful 2025.

This will include developments driven by the ongoing evolution of the packaging supply chain and the impact of sustainability, digitalisation, automation, and efficiency on how businesses must operate in the future.

These needs will see us continuing to invest in the people, technology, and partnerships that help brands, contract manufacturers, and co-packers transform labelling and sleeving from a constraint into a competitive advantage.

The past 12 months have been inundated with landmark customer wins and system installations. These have strengthened and solidified our position as the go-to manufacturer of expertly engineered and precise labelling and sleeving solutions for brand and co-packers, who are operating in markets such as FMCG, beverages, dairy, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and more.

MD Thomas Glendinning commented: “It is not an exaggeration to say that our manufacturing facility in the UK has been operating non-stop for the last 12 months to fulfil all the orders and projects coming to us.

“This includes engineering complex, multi-process systems for the most challenging labelling and sleeving requirements that customers in the UK,  Europe, and further afield face.”

Jordan Hynes, Business Development Manager, added: “Simultaneously we are seeing high demand for tailormade systems that provide the same high level of performance and functionality but which are straightforward, versatile and agile, and easy to operate.

“Regardless, all customers are seeking out solutions that allow them to efficiently and effectively apply artwork to their containers through labelling and sleeving technologies that maximise shelf appeal, secure sales, and achieve an impactful brand presentation.

“They are turning to us in their droves to capitalise on our fully in-house capabilities and expertise, from the design, assembly, build, and testing of tailormade lines at our base in Clacton, Essex, to the fabrication of components and framework elsewhere within the ENE Group. This makes us uniquely positioned as the only supplier fully manufacturing labelling and sleeving solutions in the UK.”

Thomas continued: “Demand is continuing through Q4 and into Q1 next year, with 2026 set to be another landmark year for the business.”

As a result, we are investing heavily in its production capacity and capability. We have recently undertaken an extensive recruitment drive to bolster its team across all departments, while new premises are being identified to allow us to build and ship even more systems.

These are destined for customers throughout the UK & Ireland as well as headed overseas. Both markets offer strategic opportunities for growth and we are actively targeting brands and co-packers in the UK and abroad that will benefit from its expertise in high-quality labelling and sleeving solutions.

Thomas said: “We are delighted to already be working with so many great customers but know that there is so much more demand in the market for us to serve. This is one reason for us needing to expand our physical footprint and workforce headcount.

“It will also result in us strengthening our presence and representation in key geographies internationally. We have already achieved great success through our close work with OEM partners but to take the next step, local agents and distributors will be an important part of our future roadmap.

“All of these developments have the same end goal: to deliver precise, consistent, reliable, and efficient labelling and sleeving that supports businesses today and is ready for the future.”
